I apologizes if this has been asked before, I saw other posts but none with answers. I have the Hi-res patch from NoMutants but the problem is it won't go widescreen, it has the little window and the black space between the sides of the monitor. I couldn't find an ini file, assuming that is because its from GOG but is his something that is game to game or system side because I have the same problem with Neverwinter Nights and I can't figure out how to make it stretch.

You can choose higher resolutions in-game with this patch:http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1241 - Extract the contents of the 'FOT_HiRes_Patch.zip' to your Fallout Tactics Installation Folder. - To install the Hi-Res Patch for the Game run the 'FOT_HiRes_Patch.exe' and follow the prompts. - To install the Hi-Res Patch for the FT Tools Editor run the 'FTTools_HiRes_Patch.exe' and follow the prompts. Note: The FT Tools Editor needs access to the bos.cfg file to retain it screen settings. For some reason by default the location of this file is set to C:bos.cfg. To that end the 'FTTools_HiRes_Patch' also gives you the option to set the location of the bos.cfg to the same place the Game stores it under 'corebos.cfg'. - Start the game, choose 'Options' and then the 'Display' tab to set your new screen resolution - Using the native resolution of your screen automatically removes the bars. If you find the picture details too small in a high resolution, choose a smaller one (with the same aspect ratio as your monitor; usually 16:9 or 16:10 for widescreen). The fullscreen scaling can be done by your graphics card. Search for the scaling option in your graphics card control panel (see screenshots), turn it on and choose the aspect-ration variant to avoid deformation.

I have tried the scaling thing too i have the AMD CCC. I am on a laptop does that change anything because I don't get the maintain ratio just centered and fullscreen. I believe the native res on here is 1366x768 thats been what I've tried to use in game. I don't mind running 1024 I just don't want 800. Also there is all the options and then ones with 16 at the end and that crashes the game.

That does indeed change something. The CCC is known for causing problems with scaling on some laptops. For some obscure reason the CCC won't allow changing the scaling settings while your working with your native display resolution (usually the max resolution offered).A work around to activate the scaling options is - reducing your desktop resolution (try different settings if the following doesn't at once) - apply the changes - Re-open the CCC and check if the scaling option isn't greyed out anymore - After changing and applying the new scaling options you should be able to return to your native resolution while the scaling is still activated - You might have to try this several times until it works - Unplug any external monitor while trying this
